Bible Study on Gospel of Luke at First Presbyterian
Pastor Erik Spencer of First Presbyterian Church, Verona will lead a fourteen session adult Bible study on the Gospel of Luke beginning Sunday, January 6 from 11:30 to 12:45 in the church Parlor. Student resource books for non-church members are free; your participation is invited. Please call the church office, 973-239-3561, or email firstpresbyterian@att.net to arrange to pick up these materials.

“The beginning of a new year is a good time for many of us to fulfill our interest in learning more about the Bible. The Gospel of Luke is a good place to start,” said Pastor Spencer.

The class assumes no prior Bible knowledge, no one will be put on the spot, and there are no tests. The class, instead, is conversational and interactive. Pastor Spencer promises that if you participate weekly, read the lessons in advance, and listen to conversation carefully, you will make new friends, learn a great deal about Luke, and will grow in faith and understanding.

The materials used are part of the Kerygma Program, a non-denominational Christian education publishing firm.
